Care Instructions:
At Ni-Chern Designs, I use a wide variety of fabrics and each unique bag are made with several different types of fabric. There are no general rule to cleaning your Ni-Chern Designs bag. Here are some helpful tips to care for your bag:
Maintenance:
Each bag will be sprayed with Scotch-Guard when it is complete. I strongly recommend spraying fabrics with a light coat of Scotch-Guard or any other protective spray to keep your bag looking clean and new when you recieve the item.
Spot Cleaning:
Do not rub the stains into the bag. As soon as you see a stain, blot the stain using a clean slightly damp cloth/towel or a durable paper towel. Soaking up excess liquid from spills or during cleaning can help limit spots left after it dries. Most of the fabrics may be spot treated with mild soap and water. Be sure to always use cold water; hot water may cause some fading and shrinking to the fabric. It is best to test a small area of the fabric in an inconspicuous place to insure a good outcome. There are many stain removers and spot treatment products on the market today; some products we have had good results with: Tide-to-go, Oxiclean, Shout wipes, etc. Please follow the directions of the product you choose, but there are no guarantee that it will be completely clean the stain. After cleaning the stain, please allow the bag to air dry.
Overall Cleaning:
Machine washing is not recommended, otherwise noted.
Many dry cleaners will be able to handle overall cleaning. Most will not be able to clean the Madison square bags, since there is a cardboard base to it.
Ni-Chern Designs cannot be responsible for any damage to the bag due to overuse, machine washing, or dry cleaning. |
